If anyone is looking for a balance transfer card, Ulster Bank Gold card is getting good acceptance rates and positive comments on speed of processing on other sites. The credit limit given seems to be a standard £3k, which may be increased to £3.6k on card activation.

While it is only a 6 month deal, there is no fee attached to the balance transfer, so seems a good card for moving balances.
