Hi there.

Is it the Virgin Atlantic Amex cardyou are thinking of? It is operated by MBNA. The answer to your question is that they can be very generous. Of all my credit cards over the years, MBNA have given me the highest limits. My Virgin Atlantic card has a limit of £20,000 and I recently negotiated a 9 months extension to the existing 6 months at 0%. So way the best card for me at the moment.
